I'm Bored!!
Sunny Pupdate (@7/31/22)
10 days post surgery and Sunny is doing great. Lots of snuggles on the couch.
She doesn't show much interest in licking her incision, so we've downsized from the large "cone of shame" to a donut collar.
We're doing "stretchy-flexy" exercises 2-3 times of day.
Her incisions are healing VERY nicely!
....and the swelling has gone down almost completely!
Now.....to come up with ideas on how to keep Sunny's mentals occupied, without stimulating too much of her physicals!
Great so see that Sunny is doing so well.

Your mama and daddy are doing a fantastic job of therapy and cuddles and photography skills. your incisions look amazing for 10 days after and you really look CUTE in your sof donut. Prayers and POTP going up for all of you and for ideas to appear for entertaining you..

You need a ride in your carriage so you can smell all the wonderful smells while taking your parents for a walk. I'm so happy you're doing so well, Sunny.

ReplyDeleteWe're so happy to read such a great report on your progress, Sunny. It's tough to stay still when you are such a young pup, but it will be better for you in the long run and then maybe you can run all you want without any pain.
ReplyDeleteLooking so very good!!! Nice nursing work, Mama. But don't let your guard down. It only takes a little bit of licking to do some damage. Does she like to walk in the doggy stroller? But it is probably too hot. We did lots of peanut butter stuffed kongs for Misty.
