Howdy effuryone!
Welcome to Nature Friday, where we get to meet new friends and maybe share a picture or two of what nature looks like around Blogville. This week we decided to be flower princesses and share pictures we found on Mama's phone from her visit to the Botanical Garden earlier this week.
It seems like overnight everything went from brown to a deep lush green at the gardens.
The roses are in full bloom in every color of the rainbow!
From this pink rose bush....
To these yellow and orange roses.
There were beautiful pink tipped roses hiding in the shade
...and beautiful pastel colored rose basking in the sun!
This one looks like a sunset....but there were some pretty purple ones too!
The roses were just the tip of the flower iceburg though!
Here we have a cute little lady bug crawling on a Hawthorn Crimson Cloud bush/tree
A pretty daisy basking in the sun,
...and some pretty lacy hydrangea!
This is just a few of the 87 million flower pictures Mama took, so she also made this video:
You can also watch it HERE, on our YouTube channel.
Thank you for joining us for a look at the flowers at the ABQ Botanical Gardens. We hope you enjoyed them half as much as Mama did.
What's blooming in your corner of Blogville this week???
Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE to go to our Hoppity Page.
Hi there, gorgeous Flower Princesses,
ReplyDeleteYou and your dear mama have totally spoiled us with such an abundance of floral beauty this morning. We love all the photos but the roses remain our absolute favourites.
Happy Nature Friday!
Toodle-oo!
Nobby (and Gail).
The flowers are so beautiful and so are the two of you in your hats and bandanas, Rosy and Sunny!
ReplyDeleteYour mom would love the arboretum here as they have a huge tulip display right now. It looks beautiful when we see it on TV. The flowers your mom found are super pretty too. It's flower season now!
ReplyDeleteSunny that headdress! It is almost Carmen Miranda. I love your bearded iris picture to bits - they are my favorite garden flowers (but the slugs eat the roots away on all the ones I have planted at home so I will have to try growing them again somewhere else...
