The Places We've Been

 

As the big day of thanks here in the US draws closer, we have been thinking back to all the places we were thankful to visit in CeCe this year!

 

 

 Our first trip was way back in March, when we visited Tucumcari and saw lots of fun things from

 Route 66 

Then in April we visited Bonito Hollow

 

In May we visited a farm

 

 

Where we got to bark at see Alpacas!

 

 Then, in June we went up to Angel Fire

 

 

 We took a break in July, but in August we hit the road again.

 

Where we went to "the other Las Vegas".

 

In September we went TWO places! We went to the Route 66 RV Resort here in Albuquerque to test out how CeCe liked towing JeeJee.

 

PLUS we visited Granby and Rocky Mountain National Park

Finally, in October, we visited Bloomington, NM where we could see the Ring of Fire Eclipse!

2023 was a PAWESOME CeCe travel year....

 

We can't wait to see what 2024 brings!!

Thankful for Warm Sun

Although the temperatures have been getting chillier,

the sun here in New Mexico is bright and warm.

Today, I am especially thankful for the bright sunny days we have had lately.

Dia De Los Muertos

 

Today, on the second day of Dia de los Muertos(Day of the Dead) we are thankful for those who came before us. 

 

 

  We celebrate the lives of Jakey...

 

 

 

....and Arty, who both we knew and loved. 

 

We also celebrate the two Angels who started our blog and ignited Daddy and Mama's love for little fluffy dogs,  

 

Angel Bilbo

 

  

 and Angel Dory. 

 We think of our Angels with smiles today as we remember all the fun and love they brought to our lives.

Santa Paws is Coming to Town

 

 We've been busy getting ready for the Pawlidays! 

I thought a little Santa funny today might help get us in the Pawliday Spirit even more!

 Nothing...It was on the house!

Today I  am thankful Santa Paws will be here soon

Thankful for Pawliday Season

 

This year sure is flying by!  It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating the beginning of 2022 and now it's almost time Santa Paws to visit again!  

 

Today, I am thankful all the holiday sparkles and shinies have made there way, out again!  We had a great time decorating over the long weekend.

 

I am also thankful that I am feeling better! Hopefully, at my next dogtor appointment(December 7th), I'll get a firm date on when  I can go outside without a leash and hang out with the pack again.

Mama and Daddy would be at the top,

Snuggles, scritchies, they never stop.

Then birdies and squirrels, let's not forget bunnies.

I dropped the ball

 I almost forget to mention you all!

Honorary Aunty's all over the planet,

Your love surrounds me like a big warm blanket!

 

Two Weims in France, with adorable nosies

and every Nature Friday they bring me pretty rosies.

 

A big pup in Florida, A kitty in Maryland, 

I have the best friends, there is no comparison!

 

From hiking in Scotland, to adventures in Oceanside,

 Some of you make us laugh 'til we cry.

 

There aren't enough thankfuls in this big wide world,

to tell you all just how much you mean to this girl!

Happy (USA) Thanksgiving!

November Nature Thankfuls - Pretty Colors

 

 Rosy here today to celebrate how thankful Mama and I are for November Colors! I know we have mentioned it before, but we are sooooo happy to be in an area that has four seasons! 

 

I am still deciding which is my favorite season, but I know Mama's favorite season is Fall! She has always seen the Fall as a time of renewal and fresh starts(stemming from back to school season).

 

Not only is it a time of fresh starts, but the colors outside are amazing!

The seed pods are just gorgeous!!

 

 

...and they are bursting with seeds!

 

 

 

The only thing we aren't crazy about in the Fall is the silly human time change.  Saturday night/Sunday morning we move the clocks back an hour. Mama and Daddy ARE thankful that this change is the one where they are "supposed" to get an extra hour's sleep.

 

MWAHAHAHAHA

We'll see about that!

 

 

I have to say, I can see why Mama thinks Fall is the best season of all....

 

BUT

Winter is coming!

(and I LOVE snow!)
