Today I took Mom to the lake in Austin. This is Town Lake, not to be confused with MY lake which is Lake "has no water", also known as Lake Travis.
Anyway...Town Lake is in Downtown Austin and is a nice place to go and walk on trails and see wildlife..

It was very hot! Mommy says that until it cools off we will have to go for walks when it is WAY early before the hot comes.
Some puppy dogs cooled off by swimming and fetching in the lake (these were GROWED UP puppies Jack, don't get any ideas!)
I am all about cooling off in the air conditioning on the way home!!!

Boy, it must have been hot. You seem to be panting in every picture. Looks like a nice place to visit though.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful lake you have to walk about. Today's pictures are very pretty. You'd never know it was hot the picutres are very refreshing. Just think before long we'll be in the midst of autumn...long walks beautiful leaves. At least your Mom didn't embarass you today.

ReplyDeleteThat's a BIG lake. Ours isn't nearly that nice. Although we did see a turtle and a bunch of ducks the other day but mom didn't have the camera. Stoopid mom!
They don't allow swimming in our lake. Not hoomans or doggies cause the fishermen say it scares the fishies!
