Wow...last week went by FAST!!!! Mama wasn't home lots last week or this weekend 'cause she had a churchy thing she was planning....She DOES promise that she will be around this week to help me catch up with all my friends...and take me for lots of walkies too!!! Here is Mr. Brutus the Frenchie....Mama could not pick just one photo to put up here....but will play eenie meenie minie moe when she puts the final entry up!! Frenchies are natural-born smilers, and Brutus is no exception!! That being said, there are so many varieties of smiles in his repertoire, where do I start??

There's the "I'm getting a belly-rub" smile

The "enjoying the spotlight" smile (during an agility demonstration)

The "just plain cute" smile (just posing!!)

The "crazy Frenchie" or "toothy" smile (more belly rubs)

The "chillin' in the shade" smile (too hot out to do anything else)

And finally, the "this-is-the-life" smile (self explanatory!!)

How can I possibly chose just one to enter??

Next is a very special picture of an angel. This is Patachou who has gone over the Rainbow Bridge, her Mama Anne-Katherine still remembers his wonderful smileys!!!

I love this pic of Patachou. Patachou had just gotten home from his 4th round of radiation on his left back leg (knee). He loved going to Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialist and was extra excited since they had put a t-shirt on him. He LOVED to wear clothes (which was fun to find since he was 104 lbs lol). All the docs/techs/staff signed the t-shirt :)



This is my computer screen background. Patachou was such a happy boy pretty much all the time. He loved to pose for pics too. Here he was lying on my bed happy to see me. He always smiled and especially loved blond little female dogs LOL. Such a flirt.

In this one I'm smiling because it's supper time!! I get super excited at supper time.

And this last one I'm smiling because I learned that I get to go away for winter vacationing in the south and I'm excited. :)

Here is me smiling on the beach. I was smiling because I love the sand and because there were these scrumptious looking birdies hoping around the shoreline just waiting for me to pounce.

I am smiling with my eyes because the Mama and the Daddy are eating dinner at the table and I can see all the yummy foodables. Maybe if I smile pretty enough with my eyes they might give me a taste! This is Pee-Wee's entry. We are supposed to tell stories about why we are smiling. Momma says he is smiling because, "It just feels good to be Dexter!" Whatever.

I, on the other hand, am smiling because this was taken after I finished working on my dance moves which I totally LOVE and it makes me very happy when I do everything right (little beasts please make note of my large and pointy toofers).

If you look very closely, I have a chunk of snow between my eyes! And that gives me even more reason to smile! I am a Very Happy Dog here! (Not that I'm not usually a Happy Dog, but this snow stuff? It makes me a Very Happy Dog!) And Mom says I'm looking more like a Retriever. I wonder what she mean by this. Not that it matters. I know that she thinks I'm Very Pretty! And I have another entry. I think Dory should create a special category for Old Doggies (or Old Beasties, if you prefer). Because while TaiChi's teeth aren't exactly pearly white anymore, she still smiles. In this particular picture (taken last fall), she was smiling at the fact that she was bigger (and on top of) me!!! See that glint in her eye? And the smile on her lips? She's TOTALLY got the Mona Lisa thing going on! (You may have to biggify to really see the Mona Lisa thing.) Me? I was still suffering for Very Little Dog-itis. Serious Deer-in-the-headlights look!
