No lectures this week, but Mama received an email from one of her buddies from scuber dive club about voting for LifeLong friends in a contest to raise money. Here is the email she got...

As most of you know I volunteer at an animal shelter out in Lago Vista called Lifelong Friends. We are currently trying to win $20,000 to help our shelter. This is a no kill shelter run primarily on donations and volunteers. The animals get wonderful care, even expensive surgeries if needed. I've seen cats and dogs live at the shelter for as long as 5 years before being adopted, that gets expensive. Please help us out and vote everyday for our shelter. Last we checked we were at the #25 position nation wide!

2. Click on the big purple pawprint button.

3. Choose Lifelong Friends in Lago Vista , Texas , as the shelter you want to vote for.

4. Click vote.

5. Then verify your vote by typing the name of the animal shown in the picture and click Confirm Vote.

For our small shelter, winning $20,000 would be like finding a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow! Please vote EVERY DAY through December 20. YOU can make a difference in the lives of stray and abandoned animals!
