Happy last weekly Flower Friday of the Summer! Although we love the summer with all it's beautiful color, we love that the days are getting cooler and are hoping the rain isn't far behind!
After today, we will be moving our Flower Fridays to the second Friday of the month. Luckily we can find flowers here on the Northern Coast of California most of the year, and we encourage you all to join us!!

It all started when we headed to Sequoia Gardens to see what looks to be the last Dahlia blooms of the summer...
As you can see, many of the flowers are getting a bit ragged along the edges
Some are still thriving, tho

When Mama and I got to the gazebo, she asked me why my pawsies were were a funny pinky purple
Hmmmmmm, that is a very good question, Mama!
Some with pointy leaves
Others with rounded leaves
Such rich and beautiful colors
Most of them were a pretty purple-y....WAIT!!!

This is purple Flower Fairy dust!!! From all these purple-y pink flowers I have been walking in!!!
And that's why my toes turned purple . . .!!!
