Greetings all and welcome to Flower Friday!!
After you take a glance at this weeks flowers feel free to transport over to our Artist Tutorials Page and take today's Pizap refresher by clicking HERE
Now let's look at a few random flowers we have seen this week during our walks!
Here we have some Springtime Calla Lilies!
These are pretty common up here on the Northy North California coast from March until June!
Here we have some Clematis Montana Rubens.
I know..pretty scientific huh?? I sat down with Mama and found her an "App" for her Smartphone called PlantSnap! Now she just takes a picture of a flower or plant and it will give her its name!
Here is some neighborhood Flowering Dogwood!
...and here is a Flowery Jakey
teeheehee
We found this Creeping Aster while on a walk at the Marsh
Mama finally found out this flower is a Radish Weed...they come in a ton of different colors!
..and finally we have a Rainbow Iris with a slight beard
We hope the flowers and sun are out in your corner of Blogville this weekend!!

ReplyDeleteThe radish weed is really pretty, we need that app for our phone.
ReplyDeleteGreat selection of flowers. Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteGood job helping your Mom to find an app that could identify all those flowers! I've tried a couple of different apps for that, but neither worked that great. I might look at that one now.
ReplyDeleteSo many beautiful flowers - what great finds on your walks! I think that Iris is my favorite.

ReplyDeleteoh, an app for that... who's surprised really? Of course, the YAMster would be going around clicking all the flowers which look similar but are entirely different genus and checking the viability of its readings. But that's just her - and she doesn't have a smartphone. So ignore her. These are all mighty pretty!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Those flowers sure are pretty!
ReplyDeletewow on all these flowers, LOVE the dew drops or rain drops and i can't belive you have an app that is smarter than ME. that is amazing and now we know the names. wow again.
ReplyDeleteforgot to say AWESOME shots of these wonderful flowers.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool app!! Those are all beautiful flowers Jakey. We have been so nice in the early part of the day but then the nasty thunderstorms roll in late afternoon and evening. The heavy rain and some hail have kind of beat up some of mom's flowers she planted

ReplyDeleteI adore your rainbow Iris! Flowerey Jakey is also awesome :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers as always. Thanks for the tutorial. Mom will have to take a look at the stock photos on pizap. She has had a hard time finding rides that don't have peeps on them already. Mom thinks you told us you would do something for us, but she isn't sure. Do we need to be sending you photos for the BBQ too? Forgive us but the Momster never gets things straight.
