Tongue Out at Firewoks Tuesday

I am giving the people a couple of blocks away razberries for  scaring my brothers with their loud banging firework the past few days. I have been pretty calm and just bark at the noises. For some reason Mama says this does not help anything, I told her I was just trying to protect her...sheesh!

We understand some humans have the need to hear these loud noises and see the pretty displays...but please go to a fireworks show.

If you don't, and you live in my neighborhood I'll be forced to give you a razberry!

  1. Bailie is the only one of us that doesn't like the booming. Mom doesn't either because she is usually trying to sleep and they keep shooting them off all night. No fun. Wish they were still illegal here. We are hoping the forecast for rain holds as that might dampen the fun.

  7. Oh Rosy I hear you my sweet little niece. Mom says if she lives to 200 years old she will never ever NO never understand the mentality that goes with folks setting off fireworks in their yards. It is scary and dangerous and most inconsiderate. As hot and dry as it is here we hope and purr no one will do it around us. The worst culprits moved many years ago.
Hugs and give the brudders a kissy

  8. Gail tells me that my predecessor Hamish always used to run around barking loudly at fireworks, but apparently it never did him any good, so I don't bother.

  9. We have 3 straight days of fireworks and are not happy. one. bit. about it. I wish people understood how disturbing it is to both men and beasts.

  10. This is our least favorite holiday. Wish they would outlaw firework sales. Unfortunately living near an indian reservation they can sell the big stuff even though it is illegal off the reservation and we have irritating neighbors

  12. Right on, Rosy!!! We are gearing up for all the bangs to start tonight. Mom says we will be all inside and Dad can turn the volume up on the TV as loud as he wants and she won't complain:)

    Stay safe.

  13. We're sure with you about those fireworks! They've been going off like crazy here. We're pretty good about it, but Mom can tell it troubles us when they're close. Then there's all the debris all over the neighborhood that Maggie -- I mean "someone" tries to eat. Then gets a tummy ache.

  14. Our new neighborhood is very close to the big city display. Momma's going to gauge tonight how loud and big it is so she can take measures for future years!

  15. You do have the cutest razberry we've ever seen Rosy. We like to bark at the noises too and aren't scared by them either. Our paws are crossed for your brothers and all our other friends who don't like hearing all those loud noises.
