Today, I am thankful for our big patch of Lizard Nip!
Some critters, especially kitties, might think this is catnip but the lizards in our backyard love it!
I can always find a lizard or two
skulking around in here....
Here lizard, lizard, lizard!!

lizard nip? maybe they come to us too when we plant such plants?
ReplyDeleteI hope you catch one of two of them, Rosy!
ReplyDeletewe love our lizards too and once in a while so does a neighbors cat.. Jake loved to eat lizards, Big and Beau ignore them completely. Baby girl chased them but was once in a stand off with one hissing at her, she had her butt in the air, her head down to ground and kept jumping backwards each time it hissed. It was five inches long and she was 50 lbs. go figure
ReplyDeleteYou look like you're having fun hunting for lizards, Rosy.
ReplyDeleteBOL niece Rosy...lizard nip...that was quite funny. Do the lizards scurry in a hurry when they see you?
ReplyDeleteHugs Aunty C
Lizard nip. Made me smile. We have lots of lizards here and we leave them alone because they eat bugs. You're so cute, Rosy.
ReplyDeleteHave a woof woof Thankful Thursday. Scritches all around, healing hugs to sunny and my best to your peeps. ♥
Lizardnip can discourage mosquitoes too...but maybe it;s dry enough in New Mexico that they aren;t a problem,
ReplyDeleteBe careful with those lizards, they can't be trusted.
ReplyDeleteOh no. Mom would not want to ever attract lizards, she doesn't like any reptiles anywhere near our yard. We met two people from New Mexico at our trials up north last weekend. They both like to come to MN in the summer to escape the heat, but they love living there in the other months.
ReplyDeletehahahaha the lizard call...
