Happy Hot Air Balloon Day!
The day we(well Mama) celebrate the first manned flight of a hot air balloon in 1783! As you may have guessed, Mama is a bit obsessed with these big bouncy balls in the sky. I don't mind sitting outside and watching them with Mama...but Rosy would rather stay inside and bark their arrival(and departure).
Here is a short video of a few balloons we have seen from our very own yard!
You can also watch it HERE on YouTube.
Have a pawsome Hot Air Balloon Monday!!
oooh that is sure a BIG awww....

ReplyDeleteWow, that is a lot of balloons... You are so lucky to be able to watch these beauties! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
They are pretty to watch when you see the fancy ones, but we have never really seen any around here. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many dotting the sky and the balloons are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteAWWWWWsome! they look really low to me, like they could hit your tree tops. I have never seen one in real life. that is a LOT of them at the end, so what happens if they run into each other? I can see why Rosy might be barking. I was thinking they were way up high. super video.
ReplyDeleteNieces Rosy and Sunny...this is Awww x 87.
ReplyDeleteSunny I'm happy you can keep mom company outside.
Rosy you must sound fierce inside barking at them.
I love them too but have 0 desire to hop in the basket. I admire them from the ground too
Hugs Aunty C
What beautiful hot air balloons you get to see from your home.
ReplyDeleteI'd be right out there with your mom. I love seeing these beautiful balloons. A huge Awww and I loved the music on the video.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥
We always enjoy seeing those big things when they drift over our place, but it's rare these days since our balloon festival got canceled due to greed.
ReplyDeleteMomma says one time Whitley saw one - and barked while hiding under a chair!
ReplyDeleteBallooning does sound like tremendous fun.
ReplyDeleteThe balloon at the 53 second mark is our favorite. We used to see quite a few balloons fly over our home in the summer, but lately not so many. Maybe things will change this year. Mom thinks they may have changed their flight path.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Xena: Wow, there must be 87 of them! What if they decide to attack? Do you have your antiballonistics armed and ready? XOX Xena
