  2. did you ever get out to get that squirrel? Nobody ever closes my doggie door - but it's on the 2nd floor so the squirrels can't get in here!

  3. My nap today was disturbed by one of those khritters...it was in my tree looking down at me!

I gave it my best 'be gone with ye' evil glare...

    It moved along!

  4. At least you get to see one of those critters in your yard - they never come to our yard. We have to go on a walk to find them.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

  7. Dory - I think it's commendable that even on a holiday weekend, you are hard at work watching for the evil intruders. Would you like me to talk to your "Daddy" and explain the importance of your vigilance?!

  8. Bummer! I say: "Book Daddy!" Getting to the scwirrels is a very important doggie job!

  11. Hi Dory,
We don't have many squirrels and I don't have a doggie door. I like to bark at cows and sheep when I go for a ride or walk with my Mom. She is not happy when I do that, neither are the cows and sheep for that matter!

  12. Squirrels aren't good for cook'n this time of year any way. Wait till the Fall and then you can have em with your cornbread dressing. Yum!

  19. Dory, we had a squirrel yesterday - we just posted about it! We were all over the garden but our mum pursued us with the flashy beast!
Honesty when there are important things to do and they just cant get their priorities right!
We cannot believe that door was not opened immediately so you could give chase.
This is why these pesky squirrels think they can just invade our territory!

  21. Dory, if you stand there long enough and stare at the door, they finally give in. Sometimes we really have to wait long but then FINALLY they read our minds.

  26. Oh no, Dory!
Intruder on YOUR backyard! Too bad your daddy was not able to get the door in time for you to chase the nasty squirrel.

  28. Dory, sometimes we think our parents like to give the squirrels a little break but they don't need a really long break so you need to ask to have the door opened again...soon!
