Happy VPKC Friday!!!
This week's VPKC is all about NY Bully Brat Woodrow! I'll let Mama give you the particulars, but our friend Woodrow is very sick right now. His Mama is spending lots of time with Woodrow and they could use all kinds of support. Go over and visit the Woodman and leave him a get well wish!
I told Mama she could say a word about the sickness that Woodrow has...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi all, Woodrow suffers from M.R.S.A.. I found this website that gave some decent information, it's a very serious disease and I can see how expensive this could be to treat. My heart goes out to Woodrow's Mom, she is giving everything to save her precious baby. Please keep Woodrow in your thoughts and prayers for healing and keep Deb in your thoughts and prayers for strength during this hard time. If any of you has any more information on MRSA in pets that you can relate in layman's terms please feel free to do so in the comments.
Now back to Dory...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Woodrow's mama could use some green paper help with all of Woody's medicine.
I had a long talk with Mama and we decided that all of Septembers VPKC donations would be made to help Woody's mom with all the expenses of medicine and vet bills. We will be making a card from ALL the VPKC club members to send to Woodrow's doctor!
You or your human can go to Woodrow's page and donate through the pay pal button on the right hand side, or mail a check or green papers to Dr. Bonnie (be sure to write that it is for Woodrow's care) at the address below.

Hi Dory,
ReplyDeleteThanks to you, we met Woodrow and we all join our paws to pray that he gets well soon.
By the way, what does VPKC mean? It sure is very interesting.
Yikes, MRSA? They were worrying about that ten years ago when I was still working for a medical lab. I hadn't gone back and read that that was Woodrow's problem, but I've been checking on him since hearing that he was sick.
ReplyDeleteHi Dory,
ReplyDeleteThanks for you nice comments.. I learned alot about being a hostess from the shower you hosted.
you had good tips.
