I am Shy...By Bilbo

OK...so maybe not real shy...

Hi All, Bilbo here...I just wanted to thank those that were asking "Where was I on Sunday?"

Boneyman-What
Thank you so much for asking! I am a shy and recluse little gentleman
and am not much for the little rugrat human little ones. I let Dory
be the star of the show and went upstairs to lounge in the snuggleness
of my king size bed until I heard ALL the noise go away!!
I do not know WHY the Mama and Daddy enjoy having strangers in my
house.

As long as we are going there...What is it with this loud yelling
every fall at the TV set??? Hook 'Em Horns....GO Giants...
Why does Mama have to be SO LOUD!!! Once again I have to try and
escape to my happy place upstairs in my king size bed.

BILBO??????

...Yeah, yeah Mama, I know get used to it....

It's FOOTBALL Season...no rest for the Bilbo....

Wish me luck for the next few months...Football games, Thanksgiving, Christmas Parties...a family of Birthdays...Oy.....I won't get my house back until next February after the Superbowl Party!!

  2. You can come visit me. Dad watches a lot of football, but Mom always manages to escape into another room - a room with lots of toys and treats and a big couch. So you are welcome to come here. (And Mom and Dad are antisocial, so no big parties here!)

  3. Poor Bilbo-
I know there are doggies out there that enjoy the quiet life - somebody's gotta do it! As for me, the more the merrier! And you certainly know how I feel about football - just wish I could actually go to a game myself and bark for my team in person!

  5. Bilbo,

Carrleigh sympathizes with you - but she's getting to be more of a social butterfly. At least she will come out from behind the couch when we have company.

The rest of us love company and the more food they spill, the better we like them.

  6. I agree totally. Unless there is a lot of food falling on the floor, I prefer peace and quiet too. That bed sounds very comfy.

  7. Hi Bilbo! Sounds like you can either learn to like football or buy yourself a pair of earplugs!

I know which one I would like!

  8. Bilbo, we are sorry that you aren't fond of company in the house. We are okay with people coming to our house and love the attention, but sometimes we get overwhelmed if we go somewhere else for a party and there are lots of people, children, and noise. We get over-stimulated and need to rest. So we sort of understand how you feel. As for football season, we aren't much help there!

  9. Hi Bilbo,
My 'sister' Lilly is like you, she doesn't like a lot of noise and goes into hiding when company comes. I love to have company, in fact, Mom says I get hyper (whatever that means).

  11. Hi Bilbo,

I think you have the right idea, under the bed covers is a nice place to be when the hoomans are yelling at the tellyvision!

  12. I totally understand, Bilbo! Not everyone likes to be in the center of everything!
Please let Dory know we're getting caught up on blogs today - wow, has she been busy! What a partier! Ha roo! Mom's had the flu, and oddly, we aren't allowed to use the computer without her. Sheesh, I'm 14! I should be allowed!

  13. Parties mean lots of great food! My parents watch the big games, Super Bowl, college basketball championships, etc. so the loud noises here are somewhat limited.

  14. I must say that I am not too keen on visitors. I always have to stay awake and make sure they don't do anything wrong and it interrupts my meditations. Yuh, we have the footballs here now too. Much louder than baseball.

  16. Phantom doesn't like a lot of noise and commotion either, Bilbo. At least you have that big bed to retire to.

  17. Hi, Bilbo!
I understand you. I like when people come to my house for the first 5 minutes.... after that... I go away from them!
Sounds like you are going to have a hard time the next months!
    Good luck!

  20. Hi there Bilbo,

I can understand how you feel about guests in the house and all the din. I'm not into party too but I guess Dory loves all the attention. Too bad you have to bear with it for the next few months.

  21. Oh Bilbo!

I feel your pain when it comes to football! I loath that game and all the hoopla that comes with it! At least you've got a great hide away... a king size bed!

  23. Hi Bilbo,

It's okay to be shy. You are probably a deep thinker too. Just like me! I think I'll get a drink of water now. See what I mean?

  24. Bilbo,
Its ok to be the shy little gentleman!! I LOVE people coming over and my mom says I go beserk!! like I never get attention!! Not everyone is alike. Dory likes the company so let her handle that part and you hold down the fort upstairs.
I do agree with you on the yelling part. My mom and I arent really football people and we go upstairs and we can still hear them yelling, and when Dad's team is loosing, I've learned to just stay far away!! LOL
As far as the Holidays, that means lots of yummies, cant miss that!! Just go with the flow there Bilbo!!

  25. Bilbo you are such a cutie. You know that I understand, cause we have so much in common. I knew you were upstairs when the stangers got in your house. I will think of you often over the next few months. Try to find a good hiding spot and snuggle as much as you can.

  26. BOL, mom likes to read a book during football and only looks up to see big plays. She says it's multi-tasking.

  27. It's ok to not like loud noises, Sonja isn't very fond of them either. She always leaves the room if there is any yelling (yelling is to a minimum now since I've been divorced for 2 yrs lol) Hugs!

  28. Hi Bilbro....and why we're on the subject why in the world do the peeps open the door twenty eleven times on 10/31 and give out good candy to the children hollering 'Trick or Treat'? I'm saying if I was rude like that I'd get nada, nothing, zip.
