Thankful Thursday - My Backyard


Today I am especially thankful to have my very own backyard! Well, I get to share it with some pretty cool friends!

A family of BlueJays eat their dinner here...

and look over there....

Daddy Cardinal feeding his son!
(Mama says stay tuned tomorrow for a special slide show...she took like a million pictures of it)

    Oh I so agree with you, Dory! A back yard is a gold mine for me too - but mama isn't too quick to catch the ones I share it with except Ozzie. Wow - incredibly captures of the dad feeding his little one and love the squirrel picture. I'd have demolished the feeder by now!

    Holy cat crap Dory, my mom and dad are real bird watchers and they have NEVER seen a red bird/cardinal "baby", let alone a parent feeding one. You should send that pic to some bird watching magazine or something. You could get 87 bazillion dollars for it. Thanks for sharing.

    It is great to have your own private estate, yuh. That bird is a teenager I think. Still bugging dad for a hand out when he should be out getting his own job.
