House switching is HARD work!

Last weekend we started the moving process...Some peoples were going to be stopping to look at OUR house to see if they wanted to live there. So first, we had to make sure Mama had the house looking spic and span!

Then we had to get Mama and Daddy out of the house. On Saturday we took them and our Realtor Sharon out house hunting!

We looked at some houses in the woods, but decided we didn't want to scare the wild animals too much.

We looked at some other houses...but the back yards were too little!

On Sunday more peoples looked at our house, but instead of house hunting, we went for a ride to the forest!

We went for a nice walk with Daddy...

Then we did some snuggling with Mama.

OMD...we never thought house switching could be such hard work!!

  2. I'm sure there is THE house with a big backyard what becomes your home ... and I'm sure you will discover the new house as da furst... dogs have better hunting skills than humans, right?

  3. My mom is a Realtor and she can't stand looking at houses. She says we can't ever move because she doesn't want to deal with others looking at our house. Thankfully, she has her own company doing all the paperwork stuff for those that are selling homes. Hopefully your house will sell fast so you don't have to deal with the showings because it is a real pain in the furs.

  7. We did it over two years ago, and still remember how much work it was! You are lucky you got to go house hunting too...we never took the dogs with us (though once we picked our new house they got to come visit it before we moved in). They had to trust our judgement that it would work for them! :)

  8. You will find the right house. Mom is SO happy she married Dad and could move into his house when hers sold so she didn't have to go house hunting (she sold hers to "downsize" then Dad and she started getting serious so she put that plan on hold and is glad she did.)

  9. Good luck with your house hunting. Every so often Mom thinks about moving, but every time she thinks about it she wonders if the yard can be fenced and then says no we are staying.

  12. Oh yes, it can be so exhausting! We were lucky -- we spent a week at Grandma & Grandpa's house. A handyman and cleaner came to our house to get things ready, then they had an open house and a weekend of showings. And by the end of it, Momma said somebody had already decided our house was pawfect and we didn't have to go away for more showings! We hope yours sells lickety split too!

  18. Take it from us, moving is HARD WORK!!! It has been worth it but during the buying/selling process, there are days I questioned it. LOL! How far are you moving? Sorry, I'm so behind on things while we are getting settled.
