Happy Flower Friday everybody!!
Today I wanted to show you the flowers we have blooming in the backyard!!
Mama has been missing the Lantana plants we used to have in Texas, so when she saw these beauties in a basket she told me she had to have them to hang on my back porch!
She also bought a basket of sunny, yellow Lantana mixed with some pretty cornflower type flower and another basket with beautimous yellow and purple petunias!
Look over here, we have some pretty flowers against our back fence too!
Our hastas are in bloom!
Aren't they a pretty shade of purple??
Aren't they a pretty shade of purple??
I wish you could smell this Jasmine, it smells heavenly!
Lastly we have what Daddy calls "Not Tiger Lilies" cause they look like tiger lilies but they aren't! Mamas smarty pants app says they are Montbretia, I think I like Daddy's name better!
Thanks for stopping by and joining us while we looked around the backyard!

ReplyDeleteWow! Your flowers are incredible! Does your entire yard smell wonderful? You have the cutest little face, Rosy. It always makes me grin.
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty flowers!
ReplyDeleteMom so wishes that she could bury her nose in your jasmine, Rosy! You have beautiful flowers in your yard and I love your pretty purple bow!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers and photos. I would love some jasmine. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeletethe flowers are so beautiful, but forget the flowers, the eaves and window behind the hanging pots are gorgeous. can we see photos of those next time.
ReplyDeleteMOLMOL Not Tiger Lilies are probably Not Earl's favorite flowers...they certainly are pretty!!
ReplyDeleteMy word Rosy your hanging baskets with the hummingbird feeders surely must give you hours of entertainment from the back door. Lady Bird's quote was lovely happy Flower Friday to you my little niece
Hugs Aunty Madi
PS love that lavender bow behind your ear!
Those baskets are so pretty. We've never seen a hosta with such deep purple flowers. Ours are more of a pale purple to white looking.
ReplyDeleteWait, you just moved and already have all those pretty flowers?? Momma said WE don't have any flowers because we just moved in...six months ago!
ReplyDeleteSo many pretty plants. I love the hanging on the most.
ReplyDeleteOh wow...you're flowers are gorgeous! LOVE those petunias and your hostas look far better than ours who have gotten cooked this summer especially when the neighbors removed the lilac hedge recently that shaded them. They aren't particularly happy in the sun AND the heat. 😬
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful flowers, Rosy! We especially like the Lantana. Our mom meant to plant some this year, but with our drought, it just wasn't feasible to do many annuals. Thank you for sharing yours!
ReplyDeleteCammie!
I used to have hostas back when I had a garden, but I never did anything about the snails! They always looked a bit worse for wear.
ReplyDeleteThe first time I encountered mombresias (rhymes with fresias and look a bit like as well, the only way I am going to remember), was in Ireland. They grow wild in the hedgerows there and give colour to the green (apart from the fuchsias, the houses and all the other colours of course!).
So nice to see all of these photographs.
ReplyDeleteLoved the collages.
All the best Jan

ReplyDeleteYou have some beautiful flowers in your yard, Rosy. The Not Tiger Lilies are gorgeous!!! Mom would love to have some jasmine growing here. Our Lantana is finally perking up but two of the plants seemed to go missing??? Mom keeps wondering if SomePups had something to do with that!!!
