Wowsers, the summer sure is zooming by, isn't it??
I wish I really had magical puppy fairy powers and, now that it is cooling off a bit,
I could push the summer pause button...
Here are some of the flowers blooming around us!
Pretty lacy Hydrangea...
Some pink snowball hydrangea
Here is some Japanese Thimbleweed pointing it's face towards the clear blue sky
Let's see what else we can find....
Remember...

we are surprised how fast the time flies this summer... yesterday the summer break started and today is back to school...crazy... maybe the summer burnt itself because it was so super hot?
ReplyDeleteThose are lovely flowers, and it's good to see the bees are hard at work.
ReplyDeleteHere in Scotland we are just grateful that for once we have had a proper summer with lots of nice warm, dry and sunny weather. So often so-called "summer" consists of two days in June when the sun peeps out from behind a cloud now and then!

ReplyDeleteYes, Rosy, the days are buzzing past... I love the Japanese Anemone being nicknamed 'thimbleweed'; the 'snowball hydrangea' though, I rather think might actually be a Pelargonium (often referred to as geranium)... it is VERY pretty! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
