Hawaii Flower Friday Wrap Up with Arty and Guest!

 Happy Flower  Friday!!
Today we are going to take a last look at some of the flowers Mama and Daddy saw while they were in Maui!

Today, I am joined by my very own flower expert Peabody the Peacock! Thanks for joining me today, Peabody...
Let's take a look at these pretty blooms!

Thanks for letting me tag along today Arty, I'll do my best to help identify some of my native Hawaiian Flowers! First we have some Red Tower Ginger! Isn't it pretty with the little yellow blooms peaking out!

...and over here are a bunch of Blue Ginger!

You sure know a bunch about flowers, Peabody!
Thanks Arty!  My Mama and I have spent hours roaming the gardens and she taught me the names of most of the pretty flowers and plants we see!

For instance take a gander at this bright red Anthurium,

and are some pretty pink Rose Grape flowers, don't they look like a cluster of grapes?!

If you gaze over here, you see some red Indian Head Ginger. Just look at the flecks of yellow, aren't they cheerful??

Isn't this spider lily gorgeous?!
Let's look a bit closer...

Such lovely pinks and purples!!

Oh..Hi Mama! Arty this is my Mama, Priscilla the Peacock! Don't worry,  I'll be home soon Mama, just a couple of more flowers!

Here is another Red Ginger flower...this one is glistening with raindrops!

Look over here, Arty...a pretty purple orchid tree!!!

Oh no Arty...We were having so much fun, I lost track of time!!

Thanks for joining us, Peabody!! Mama and I could never have named all these flowers by ourselves!!

  3. Peabody was a wonderful flower 🌺 guide. I enjoy learning the names of flowers. One of the beast books I hav3 is “Weeds of the West.” I like 5aking walks around here and wherever we go and identify wildflowers. We’re hoping to go to Hawaii nest winter.

  20. Peabody was a hoot! Thanks for bringing him along ;) The Maui flowers are other-worldly... I love all of them but I think that the spider lily is so cheery. It made me smile.

I couldn't join this week because BOTH our flowers and our leaves are finished :( I wondered if you'd thought about making this into a more general "nature's beauty" blog hop so that it could continue all year long? I sure do enjoy it!
