Celebrating in the Spirit of Diwali

Today we are joining YAM-aunty in Celebrating Diwali. When visiting her celebration post earlier,  this quote(written by Yamini) describing the spirit of Diwali, caught her eye:

"A time to reflect on what has gone before and to realign one's thinking with some expectation of improved performance, enhanced beingness, and increased return on one's investment of time and effort in various aspects of life."

The Autumn months have always been Mama's favorite time of year(and ours too)!

Not just because of the cooler weather and warm fires...

Because it is her favorite time to reflect over where she has been....

...and to think and plan the happy things her future may hold!

Make sure to visit YAM-aunty
to learn more about Diwali and visit other posts sharing light and friendship!

  9. At the time of year when the days are getting shorter, it seems like a good idea to share light and friendship while reflecting on the future and what it may bring!
