Welcome to another edition of Nature Friday!
Zoooom!!! That is how quick the past week has gone, don't you think? Today, I have the second installment of the natural side of the pawrents trip to Michigan. Let's peruse all the fun things they found around the Lodge where they relaxed and enjoyed time with family!
The Lodge at Bear Creek is located right outside of Grayling, Michigan near the Au Sable River.
Most of the nature Mama and Daddy found was down this path...
...along Bear Creek!
Luckily they did not run into any bears down here,
but they did see some other fun creatures.
Like little Kermit the frog, he's a pretty cute little guy, do you think he would turn into a Handsome Prince if gave him a little kiss??
They also saw this pretty moth...
In fact, Mama saw LOTS of pretty moths, but I told her she could only pick one more moth picture to show....
She may have cheated...cause there are actually THREE moths in this picture.
I let her slide though....mostly because she bribed me with extra treats!
Here is a look at the creek in the other direction!
They made their way back up the path to the Lodge so they could enjoy the sunset.
On their way, Daddy pointed out this beautimous blue butterfly!
What a beautimous sunset they saw.....
Of course, all this nature would have been more beautimous if I was there!
We hope everyone gets out and enjoys a bit of nature this weekend!!
We love the pictures of Bear Creek, and are wondering if that path is a boardwalk because the rest of the ground is so boggy in that part of the world?
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous place and there were so many pretty things to see. Love the wooden plank path!

ReplyDeleteRosy, thank you for letting mama share these images with us - for there is much of beauty where they visited, of this there can be no doubt!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
It looks like a really nice spot to relax and meet up with family. Love the butterfly.
ReplyDeleteWhat an exciting adventure this week, and we adored seeing all the different butterflies, they are indeed beautimous! Thanks for hosting! XX
ReplyDeleteHidey Ho Arty...you made me giggle with this statement: "In fact, Mama saw LOTS of pretty moths, but I told her she could only pick one more moth picture to show....", your blog your rules.
ReplyDeleteI do send a hearty thank you for allowing Mama and Daddy to post other wonderful photos of their trek to Michigan. What a beautiful lodge too
Sending hugs Cecilia
There sure was lots of beautiful scenery your pawrents saw on their trip. Our favorite is the blue butterfly. You look so cute in your Happy Camper hat, Rosy.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful walk and I love that your peeps bribed you with treats. Made me laugh out loud.
ReplyDeleteHave a woof woof day and weekend. My best to your peeps. ♥
Well, you always make everything even more beautiful, Rosy, but this place did pretty well even without you. :)
ReplyDeleteYour 'pawrents' sure found a wonderful place to visit. And those moths and butterflies...whoa! Have a great weekend, guys!
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures that make me wish I could visit there in person
ReplyDeleteThat sure is a pretty place, it looks very peaceful there!
ReplyDeleteYour Mama always gets some wonderful photos to share. We loved seeing all the moths and that blue butterfly was really pretty. We hope the next time the peeps head to Michigan, you and your brothers and sister get to go too.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Your photography is marvelous and really catches the beauty of your subject.
ReplyDeleteHa, ha, your Mama slid in a butterfly after she hit her quota of moths! But Rosy, if you were in the pictures, your beautimous self is all anyone would look at. We are all glad your pawrents had a good time and came back safely to you. XOXOX Lucy, Xena and Chia, too.
ReplyDeleteLulu: "That's a lot of nature all right! We haven't been in nature here for a while, for various reasons, but maybe we'll get out there in the fall."
ReplyDeleteChaplin: "Nice picture of a frog! Good thing Dennis's old friend Norwood wasn't around to see it. Norwood REALLY liked frogs."
Lulu: "Like, he wanted to play with them?"
Charlee: "No, like he wanted to eat them."
