This week our pack is thankful for the challenge of getting along.
Mama...why is HE out here???
Well Sunny, we want to show you Arty isn't as scary as you think he is!
I don't think he's scary Mama, I just don't like his face!
Well Rosy, we think it's time you and Arty spend more time getting to know each other.
Will there be cookies involved??
If you are nice and quiet and look at me when I ask, you can have lots of cookies!!
Mama, what is SHE doing out here??
Well Arty, you and Sunny need to start getting along better if we are going to be able to take family vacations. We are going to start with you both hanging out together outside...and then we'll move inside and see what happens.
I'll do my best to be patient Mama, as long as you keep those cookies coming!!
Cookies?? I might take on the challenge of being nice for cookies!!
From
Mama: Many of you already know Sunny and Arty do not get along. For
the most part they still live in different spaces, alternating times to
spend with "the pack". We have decided it's time to get Sunny and Arty
to a point where they can tolerate each other in a closer space. We know if we don't introduce them to the idea of living in a
smaller space together soon, we may never have peace or get to travel as a
full pack in CeCe. Our goal to slowly get them to share a space without constant barking or fear of violence.
We
know there is a chance one or the other may always need to be crated
and we know they will never be able to be left alone in the same space,
but we are determined and thankful for the challenge to be able to live
in a more peaceful pack situation.
Hoping all goes well with this challenge. All fans of this blog would surely be thrilled to see the whole pack travelling together. But we understand that progress might be slow and will require patience. Best of luck!

ReplyDeleteDitto to Gail and Bertie's comment... POTP at work for your success! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Both are such sweethearts in their own way ... paws together they will learn to get along better.
ReplyDeleteYou can be thankful you have two humans to work with you as it makes it a lot easier. We also have the darn cats which cause all kinds of trouble with us getting along in the house. At least Olivia gets along with everyone and we do have solutions so we can all be together when supervised. Good luck you two, make it work.
ReplyDeletePaws and fingers are crossed that this will happen with lots of patience and training.
ReplyDeleteWe have our paws crossed that with your training Sunny and Arty can learn to live with each other in peace.
ReplyDeleteSunny darlin' I've met Arty in the furs...he is super duper sweet and kind.
ReplyDeleteI sure do hope you will try very hard to give him a chance. Such a mystery as to why you don't like Arty. Every being 2 and 4 legged have personalities that aren't always a good mix but maybe you two don't have to be BFF but you can be acquaintances so all can ride in CeCe.
Hugs Cecilia
Arty and Sunny, you're mama and daddy are such good dog parents and love you both. Good luck to the whole pack! Just remember the fun you'll have sharing adventures together in CecCe and...all those cookies!
ReplyDeleteWe're hoping things work out for the best. Angel Joey and Chester didn't get along at first, and had a few skirmishes, but then became best friends.
ReplyDeleteYou two are both very sweet and we'll cheer both of you on for that getting along thing. Give peace a chance! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry they don't get along, but that happens at times.
ReplyDeleteI like what Brian said, "Give peace a chance"!
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. Scritches all around. ♥
Hope all goes well
ReplyDeleteWe think they both want to be alpha, and that doesn't work. I'm glad I'm in charge around here. XOX Xena
ReplyDeleteBOL, BOL, BOL, Xena has bought into the illusion I created! BOL! Lucy
Patience and perseverance - and a lot of treats:) All the best in your endeavor. We know you can do it!!!
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
We hope you can bring peace to your pack.
ReplyDeleteWe wish you much luck, and hope your family can be one big happy pack soon (or at least a bit more peaceful!). ♥
ReplyDeleteNot so much different from hoomans.. we need to get along in our small space-earth. There will be rough spots.. worth the effort. Good luck!
