  7. Niece Rosy,
Squirrels are such aggravating critters. We had a time with our feeders for a very long time.
Thankfully now they are squirrel proof. Reseach told us that feeders have to be at least 5' from anything a Squirrel can use as a launch pad and not under any sturdy tree limbs. I had the feeder shaft smack in the middle of the dining room window...had to move it about 3' off center to get the shaft away from the deck bench. Drives me crazy not being center but not as crazy as the squirrels

  11. Lulu: "At least none of them is a red squirrel, Rosy! Our Dada says red squirrels are cute little psychos, kind of like Oona."
Oona: "Oona is not a psycho. Oona is a ninja!"

  12. Oh my, I was worried you had a pack of rabid squirrels after you, Rosy. What a relief? (But it is fun to play, isn't it?) XOX Xena Peee Ess, we've heard about rabid racoons in our part of the state, so we're all being careful.
